Alright, guys, let’s talk about leather in Palworld. I’ve been playing this game non-stop, and one thing I constantly needed was leather. So, I went on a mission to find the best way to farm it, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be.

My Leather Hunting Journey
Initially, I just went around whacking every Foxparks I saw. Figured, “Hey, they look like they might drop leather.” And they did, sometimes. But it was slow, really slow. I spent hours and only got a handful of leather. Not efficient at all.
Then, I started experimenting. I tried taking down those big, buffalo-looking Melpacas. They’re pretty common, and they look tough, so I thought, “Surely, they’ll drop tons of leather!” Nope. More leather than Foxparks, yes, but still not enough to satisfy my crafting needs.
I tried taking down some other pals, the ones easy to beat, such as:
- Melpaca
- Eikthyrdeer
- Nitewing
- Fuddler
- Direhowl
I noticed that they all drop leather! I just need to beat some, not all of them. I beat all of them to check if it’s * turns out I was right!
The “Aha!” Moment
After a while it turns out I need to beat up some pals that are easy to beat, that’s where you can easily get some leather!

So, there you have it. Don’t waste your time only on Foxparks. Go for bigger pals such as Melpaca, Eikthyrdeer, Nitewing, Fuddler, and Direhowl. It’s still a bit of a grind, but hey, that’s crafting games for you!
