Okay, so yesterday I was messing around in Baldur’s Gate 3, right? I’m exploring this Ruined Battlefield area, kinda creepy, lots of shadows, you know the deal. And then I stumble upon this dude, “He Who Was,” all mysterious and whatnot.
Finding the Guy
- The Location: I found him chilling around X: 129, Y: 106. Easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.
- The Look: He’s a Shadar-kai, so, you know, pale skin, dark clothes, the whole Raven Queen vibe.
- The Pet: Plus, he’s got this raven hanging around. Adds to the drama.
So, I walk up to him, and this raven starts talking. Not gonna lie, it threw me off a bit. Basically, the raven is all like, “These dead people can’t speak, wanna help them out?” and I’m like, “Sure, why not? I’m a hero, after all.” That’s how I got the “Punish the Wicked” quest.
The Quest Begins
I talked to “He Who Was,”. He explained the details, gave me names, the whole nine yards. So, i went off to do this quest
- First, I searched all the nearby houses, and found a book that seemed to record what happened.
- Then, I tried to find the people mentioned in the book.
- I encountered some difficulties during this process, but fortunately, I still have a previous archive.
- Loaded the old archive and skipped the part of talking to the raven.
- After a detour,I finally completed quest.
Wrapping Up
I go back to “He Who Was”, give him the down-low on the bad guys, and bam, quest complete. He’s all grateful, the raven gives me a nod of approval, and I’m feeling pretty good about myself.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with “He Who Was.” It’s these random encounters that make Baldur’s Gate 3 so much fun. You never know what you’re gonna find around the next corner.
