So, I’ve been getting into collecting diecast motorcycles lately, and Aprilia has some seriously cool models. I decided to dive in and grab a few, and let me tell you, it’s been a fun little project.
The Hunt Begins
First, I started with some good old-fashioned online searching. I hit up some of the usual spots, you know, the big online retailers, and some specialized diecast shops. Just browsing around, seeing what was out there.
Narrowing it Down
After a bit of looking, I decided I wanted to focus on a few specific Aprilia models. I’ve always loved the RSV4, so that was a must-have. And the Tuono? Forget about it, had to have one of those too. Oh, and I figured I’d grab a classic, so I added an older RS250 to the list.
Making the Purchases
I found a pretty decent RSV4 on one site, a bit pricey, but it was in great condition. The Tuono I snagged from a smaller online shop – they had a limited edition version, which was awesome. The RS250 was a bit trickier. I ended up finding one through an online auction, which was kind of exciting. I placed a few bids and boom!, she was all mine
Unboxing and Displaying
When the packages arrived, it was like Christmas morning! I carefully unpacked each one, checking them out, making sure there were no scratches or anything. They all looked perfect.
I had to think about storage next. I cleared off a shelf in my office, got some little stands to put them on, and arranged them all nice and neat. They look pretty sweet, all lined up.

It’s a small thing, but it’s been a fun little hobby to get into. It’s cool to have these little replicas of some awesome *, it’s time to do a little research for the next rounds, and repeat the steps to get them
