Alright, so the other day, I got to do this thing called “Alyssa Nichols.” Sounds kinda fancy, right? Well, it wasn’t as complicated as it sounds, but it was pretty interesting.

So, I started off by, like, just getting to know this Alyssa Nichols. Apparently, she’s from Jackson. Found that out right off the bat. She is the youngest Black woman to earn a FIFA referee badge. Then, I started digging around to see what she’s all about.
I looked around and saw that she talked to this place, Andscape, about how she got into refereeing and when she decided to quit her job to do this referee thing full-time. Cool story, honestly. She decided to leave her job to pursue refereeing full time.
I went through a bunch of her stuff. She’s got a pretty decent following, you know? Something like 1,944 followers. And she’s following around 1,234 people. Just regular social media stuff, but it gives you an idea of who she is.
Then, I wanted to see if she’s won any awards or anything like that. I searched around on this TV Guide site and looked at her biography. It listed out some stuff she’s done, which was pretty neat.
Oh, and I found this quote from her that I really liked: “In order to grow, you have to be okay with being uncomfortable for a while.” That’s just good advice, you know?

So, after all that, I kind of had a better picture of Alyssa Nichols. It was like putting together pieces of a puzzle. Started with just her name, then found out where she’s from, what she’s into, and what other people are saying about her. Then, I got to see some of her achievements and even a cool quote from her.
It wasn’t some big, complicated project, but it was a good way to get to know about someone. And it’s always cool to learn something new, right?
Anyway, that was my little adventure with Alyssa Nichols. Hope you found it somewhat interesting. Maybe next time, I’ll dive into something even more exciting!
