Okay, let’s dive into my little kitchen adventure today – making Pickled Herring in Dreamlight Valley!

Making Pickled Herring: Easy Dreamlight Valley Recipe (Follow These Simple Steps!)

I’ve been playing a lot of Dreamlight Valley lately, and I finally decided to tackle a recipe that sounded a bit… interesting: Pickled Herring. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure what half the ingredients were at first, but that’s part of the fun, right?

Getting Started

First things first, I needed to figure out what the heck I even needed. After a little digging around, I found out the recipe calls for:

  • Herring
  • Lemon
  • Onion
  • Any Spice

The Great Herring Hunt

The biggest challenge? Catching that darn Herring! I grabbed my fishing rod and headed straight to Dazzle Beach. I cast my line what felt like a million times, mainly in the white bubbling spots in the water, finally, I snagged a Herring! I fished there for quite a while, and It may be easier to catch them while it’s raining.

Gathering the Rest

Lemons were a breeze – I just picked a bunch from the trees in the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. Seriously, I have so many lemons now, I could probably open a lemonade stand.

Onions were next. I popped over to Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor and bought some onion and some onion seeds. No problem there.

For the “any spice” part, I just grabbed some Oregano. It seemed like a safe bet. I mean, who doesn’t like a little oregano?

Putting It All Together

With all my ingredients in hand, I ran to the nearest cooking station. I tossed everything into the pot: the Herring, the Lemon, the Onion, and the Oregano. I held my breath (not really, but you know, for dramatic effect) and… bam! Pickled Herring.

It was actually pretty easy once I had everything. Now, I can whip up a batch of Pickled Herring whenever I need it for a quest, or just to, you know, pretend I’m a fancy virtual chef.
