Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Baldur’s Gate 3 lately, like really deep. And I stumbled upon something called the “Scratch Die” – sounds weird, right? I had to figure this thing out.
First, I googled around a bit. Found some forum posts, a couple of Reddit threads, but nothing super concrete. Just whispers about this mysterious die and what it could do. The main rumor was that it could somehow mess with Scratch, that adorable doggo we all love.
So, naturally, I booted up the game. My first thought was, “Okay, where do I even find this thing?” More searching online. Someone mentioned it was related to a specific quest or area, but the details were hazy. I spent a good hour just wandering around, clicking on everything, talking to every NPC I could find. Nothing.
My Breakthrough
Then, I remembered a weird interaction I had earlier, totally forgot about * was that, when i got the “Find the missing shipment” task, after i finished the task, i keep the unopened box.
And after a short time rest in the camp, i just noticed there is a cute dog named Scratch stand there.
I tried to open the box, and the die just inside the box, I just picked it up and put into my bag.
The Moment of Truth
I just click the dice from my bag,and game just give me some choies to roll.
Scratch looks an innocent dog, so i chose the “throw away”.
And you’ll never guess what happened! Just a normal dice roll. Seems all the rumors and whispers and time-wasting was pointless!
So, yeah, that’s my “Scratch Die” adventure. A whole lot of build-up for… well, a regular die roll. Maybe there’s more to it, maybe I missed something, but for now, I’m chalking it up to one of those weird game mysteries. Still, it was a fun little rabbit hole to go down!
