Okay, so I saw this thing online about Michael Rapaport being in the new Fallout show on Amazon. I’m like, alright, I gotta check this out. I’m a fan of the games, you know, so I was curious, and also, Rapaport…he can be a bit much, right?
So, I fired up the show. I watched the first episode, no Rapaport. Okay, cool, setting the scene, getting into the whole vault thing. Then, boom, episode two. And there he is, playing this Knight Titus guy.
My Initial Reaction
Honestly, my first thought was, “Really? This guy?” I mean, I’ve seen him in stuff before, and he’s got this…energy. Let’s call it energy. I wasn’t sure how it was gonna fit with the whole Fallout vibe, you know?
Watching it Unfold
- First, I noticed the armor. Standard Brotherhood of Steel stuff, looked pretty good.
- Then, he started talking. And yeah, it was Rapaport, alright. Loud, kinda abrasive, definitely not pulling any punches.
- He’s bossing people around.
- He’s clearly got some issues.
I kept watching, and I gotta say, it kinda worked. I mean, the Brotherhood of Steel, they’re not exactly known for being subtle, right? So, his whole over-the-top personality, it kinda fit the character, in a weird way.
The Fallout (pun intended!)
After I finished the episode, I went online to see what other people were saying. And wow, mixed bag, to say the least. Some people were really into it, saying he nailed the whole Brotherhood of Steel attitude. Others, not so much. Some folks were bringing up his, uh, “controversial” reputation, saying it took them out of the show. Fair enough, I guess.
Me? I’m kinda in the middle. I wouldn’t say he ruined the show for me, but he definitely made an impression. It’s one of those things where you’re either gonna love it or hate it, I think. He sure is memorable, though, I can say for a fact!
