RAV4 Parking for Wrigley Field Events: Your Ultimate Guide!

Okay, so yesterday I decided to take my RAV4 and head over to Wrigley Field. I’ve always wanted to see how many of my kind are there, you know, kind of a RAV4 meet-up, but unplanned.

RAV4 Parking for Wrigley Field Events: Your Ultimate Guide!

Getting Started

First things first, I made sure my tank was full. Didn’t want to run out of gas in the middle of Chicago. Then, I grabbed my phone, checked the traffic, and set my GPS. Always a good idea to know what you’re getting into.

The Drive

The drive there was, well, a drive. Some traffic, some open road. Nothing too crazy. I put on some tunes, cranked up the AC, and just cruised. I saw a few other RAV4s along the way, gave them a little nod. We’re like a secret club, you know?

Finding “The Lot”

Getting closer to Wrigleyville, things started to get interesting. I’ve heard about this famous “lot” next to Wrigley Field for years. It is also a parking area for the Cubs’ games, and many local residents also park there. The “lot” I want to go to is the famous one where many people choose to park.

So, finding the lot wasn’t too hard, it’s right there next to the stadium. But finding a spot? That was another story. I circled a couple of times, saw a few RAV4s already parked, and finally squeezed into a spot that was just big enough.

The RAV4 Count

Once I parked, I got out and started my mission: counting RAV4s. I walked around the whole lot, keeping a tally on my phone. It was kind of fun, like a scavenger hunt. I even saw a couple of older models, which was cool. We’re talking all generations here!

Here’s what I ended up with:

  • Current Generation (XA50): Saw about 15 of these. They’re pretty popular, so no surprise there.
  • Previous Generation (XA40): Counted around 8 of these. Still looking good!
  • Older Generations: Spotted 3, including a classic first-gen! Respect.

Wrapping Up

So, my unofficial RAV4 meet-up was a success! I saw a good number of my brethren, got to check out some different models, and just generally enjoyed a nice day out. If you’re a RAV4 owner and you’re ever near Wrigley Field, take a spin through the lot. You might be surprised at how many of us are out there!
