Mouse Settings for Florescent: Optimize Your Gameplay Now!

Alright, so I’ve been messing around with my mouse settings lately, trying to find that sweet spot for gaming, you know? And I stumbled upon this question: what mouse settings does florescent use? I figured, hey, if it works for a pro, might as well give it a shot, right?

Digging for Info

First things first, I hit up Google. I typed in “florescent mouse settings” and went through a bunch of forum threads and Reddit posts. It’s kinda tricky because, well, these pros change their settings all the time. But I managed to find some common ground.

What I Found

  • DPI: Most folks said florescent sticks around 800 DPI. That seemed pretty standard, so I figured I’d start there.
  • In-game Sensitivity: This is where it gets a bit more varied. Some said 1.0, others mentioned 0.8. I guess it depends on the game, huh? I primarily play Valorant.
  • Polling Rate: Seemed like 1000Hz was the go-to. Makes sense, gotta have that responsiveness.

My Experiment

So, I jumped into my mouse software. I use a Logitech, so it was pretty straightforward. I set my DPI to 800 and the polling rate to 1000Hz. No brainer there.

Then, I launched Valorant. Initially, I tried a 1.0 sensitivity. Man, it felt way too fast! I was overshooting everything. I dialed it back to 0.8, and it felt much better. I could actually track heads without feeling like I was on ice skates.

I played a few games, and honestly, it felt pretty good. I wasn’t magically hitting every shot, but my aim felt more consistent. I was able to make those small adjustments without flailing around.

The Verdict (For Now)

I think 800 DPI with a 0.8 in-game sensitivity is a solid starting point, I think. It’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking to improve your *, let’s be real, I’m no pro, and what works for florescent might not work perfectly for me (or you!).

I’ll probably keep tweaking things as I go, and maybe even try different DPI settings just to see what happens. The important thing is finding what feels comfortable and lets you frag out, I think.

Anyway, that’s my little experiment with florescent’s mouse settings.I hope that helps a few people to try!
