Alright, guys, so I’ve been a huge WWE fan for years, right? And every year, I gotta know when those big PPV events are happening. So, 2018, I was all over it, trying to figure out the dates for all the shows. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, so many different sources.
First thing I did was hit up the usual spots online. You know, the typical fan sites and forums. I figured someone there would have the scoop, Some said, “WWE will no longer be offering single-brand PPVs with both Raw and SmackDown now expected to be represented on what should be an expanded card once per month.” But man, it was a jumble of information, hard to piece together what was accurate. I found bits and pieces, like a report saying they had the full schedule with dates and cities, but it was all scattered.
Then, I tried to go directly to the source, the official WWE site and stuff. They have those fancy announcements and press releases, but they don’t always lay it out plain and simple. I had to do some serious digging.
My Own Research
- Scouring Fan Sites:

- Official Announcements:
I kept checking the official WWE site for any news. They’d drop hints here and there, but nothing concrete. This is really hard for me, I have to keep my eyes open for a whole year.
- Piecing it Together:
Eventually, I started making my own list. Every time I found a date or a location, I’d jot it down. I was basically building the schedule myself from scratch. There are some rumors, like “2018 WWE pay-per-view events. The following 15 pages are in this category.” But, which one is real?
I also remember seeing something about how they weren’t doing single-brand PPVs anymore. Both Raw and SmackDown would be on the same card, which is cool, but it also meant the schedule was changing. More events, more to keep track of!
And for some reason, I got this random thought about BPPV. I guess they sound similar. It’s some inner ear thing with calcium crystals, totally unrelated, but my brain just went there. Can’t explain it.
In the end, I managed to put together a pretty solid list of the 2018 PPV dates. It wasn’t easy, took a lot of time and effort, but I got there. It’s kind of satisfying, you know, doing your own detective work and coming up with the goods. But hey, that’s what being a fan is all about, right? Going the extra mile for the stuff you love.
