Alright, so, the Falcons game, right? I wanted to catch it live. First thing I did was check if it was on one of the local channels.
Turns out, if it’s a regular season game, CBS is usually the go-to. But guess what? This one time, they’re throwing us a curveball. The Falcons were scheduled to play against the Raiders, and it was all set for ESPN+. Yeah, I know, not what you’d expect on a Monday night, December 16, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ET. Classic, right?
So, I grabbed my phone and headed to the App Store, ’cause that’s where you get ESPN+. Or, if you’re on an Android, Google Play‘s your spot. And you know, they’ve got this NFL+ thing too, in both stores. It’s like they’re trying to cover all the bases.

- Found out the game’s on ESPN+
- Downloaded ESPN+ from the App Store
- Considered NFL+ as another option
Now, if you’re not in Atlanta, you can still get in on the action with NFL+. This app’s pretty cool ’cause it tailors the viewing options to wherever you are. And for the folks overseas, DAZN‘s got you covered. Don’t ask me how to pronounce that.
Oh, and for those who are more into the old-school radio vibe, 92.9 The Game and La Mejor were broadcasting it. And if you’re subscribed to SiriusXM, you could find the game there too.
The Game Details
Just to be clear, this particular game, the Raiders vs. Falcons, was kicking off at 8:30 p.m. ET on that Monday, from Allegiant Stadium in Vegas. Fancy, huh? And another game, they had it scheduled for Northwest Stadium, in Landover, Maryland, at 8:20 p.m. ET.
And get this, there was another matchup I stumbled upon – the Falcons against the Carolina Panthers, set for Sunday, January 5th. Sounds like a whole lot of football, if you ask me. Or the one where the Commanders were hosting the Falcons, on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, of all places.
So yeah, that’s the whole deal with catching the Falcons game. It’s a bit all over the place, but hey, that’s sports for you, always keeping you on your toes.
