Today I woke up feeling like I needed to get to the bottom of something that’s been bugging me for a while. You know how it is when you just can’t shake off a question? Well, that’s how I felt about this whole Bivol fight thing. So, I decided, today’s the day I figure out when this fight is happening.

First things first, I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through some boxing news sites. I figured the answer had to be out there somewhere. I saw a bunch of articles about different fights, but nothing specific about Bivol. That was a bit of a bummer, but I wasn’t giving up that easily.
Next, I thought, why not check out some sports channels’ schedules? Maybe they’ve got it listed. I spent a good chunk of time flipping through different channels, but still no luck. It was starting to feel like I was looking for a needle in a haystack.
Then, I remembered a friend who’s a huge boxing fan. I thought, maybe he knows something. So, I gave him a call, and we chatted for a bit. He mentioned something about a fight on October 12, but he wasn’t sure if it was the one I was looking for. That was a lead, at least.
After hanging up, I jumped on my laptop and did some more digging. I typed in “Bivol fight October 12” and boom, there it was! It turns out there’s a Top Rank Boxing event on ESPN+ happening on that day in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That’s the one!
I also came across some other dates, like February 22 being mentioned for a rematch or something. A little confusing, but at least I had a solid date for the initial fight. It’s going to be at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. I made a note of that, so I don’t miss it.
Feeling pretty accomplished, I leaned back in my chair. It’s amazing how satisfying it can be to just find a simple answer to something that’s been on your mind. I even found out that the ringwalk is expected around 11:15 p.m. BST, and the undercard starts at 5:35 p.m. That’s some good info to have.
Oh, and get this – apparently, both fighters, Beterbiev and Bivol, are undefeated. That’s going to make for one heck of a match. Beterbiev is 39 and has three world titles. That’s impressive. This fight is shaping up to be a big deal.
- Date: Saturday, October 12
- Time: 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT
- Location: Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

So, there you have it. That’s how I spent my day, tracking down the details of the Bivol fight. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me, it was a little adventure. And hey, now I know when to tune in. That’s a win in my book!
