Okay, so, let’s talk about this whole “Did Collins Win Today?” thing. I gotta tell you, I’ve been following Danielle Collins for a while now, ever since I ran into her boyfriend, Bryan Kipp, at a coffee shop in London, can you believe that? Anyway, I was super pumped to see how she did in her recent matches.
First off, I started digging around to figure out who she was even playing against. Turns out, her last match was with this player, Šrmkov R., at the Billie Jean King Cup. But I was really interested in her match on November 9th, against Cline Naef. I saw that the match was supposed to start at 3:00 PM, so I made sure to clear my schedule.
I watched a bunch of her earlier matches to get a feel for how she’s been playing lately. I saw that in one of her matches, she went up against Jaqueline Cristian. She lost the first set, but then she totally turned it around and won the next two, 3-6, 6-4, pretty cool, right?
Then, I checked out her match at the Madrid Open. She was playing Olga Danilovic, and it was a nail-biter! Collins lost the first set, but, just like before, she came back and won the next two, ending up at 4-6, 6-4. This girl’s got some serious fight in her!
Oh, and get this – I also found out that she had to play two matches in one day at the Miami Open, and she won both of them! She’s a real champ. I was pretty impressed because I’m also doing sports management, like she did after her bachelor’s in media studies and business.
So, back to the November 9th match. I’m watching the game, and it’s super intense. I saw that at some point, Krejcikova was leading Collins 7-5, the pressure was on.

Eventually, I found out that she won two matches in one day on Thursday at the Miami Open. She totally crushed it with a 6-3 win and another one with 4-6, 6-4 scores, that’s crazy! All this winning, she’s become a millionaire a long time ago, I guess. It’s awesome to see her doing so well, especially after hearing about her story from her boyfriend, whom she met in that coffee shop.
In the end, I was thrilled to see Collins pull off another win. She’s really on a roll, and I can’t wait to see what she does next. By the way, she was previously with New Balance, then she was wearing Alo Yoga, but now she’s officially with FP Movement, that’s why I saw her in their clothes.
