Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “77. ford”. Honestly, I just picked it randomly. I had no grand plan, just wanted to see what I could do with it.
First, I googled “77 ford”. Didn’t really know what to expect. Got a bunch of pictures of old Ford cars, trucks, that sort of thing. Nothing really clicked, so I started thinking, what can I do with this?
My Little Experiment
I’m no artist, but I thought, maybe I could try to sketch one of these classic cars. I grabbed a pencil and paper – real basic stuff, nothing fancy. I picked a picture of a ’77 Ford Bronco. I mean is classic car.
- Started with the basic shape. Just a rough outline, you know? Like, trying to get the proportions right. It looked like a box at first, haha.
- Then I added the wheels. Circles are hard, man! Mine were kinda wonky, but hey, it’s a sketch.
- Next, I tried to add some details. The grill, the headlights, the bumpers… It was slow going. I erased a LOT.
After, like, an hour, I had something that vaguely resembled a Bronco. It wasn’t pretty, but it was mine. It was definitely a fun little exercise, even if the result wasn’t exactly gallery-worthy. More like fridge-worthy, maybe, if you squint.
Then, I had this other idea: What if I tried to write a really short story, and the number 77 and a Ford had to be in it somehow?
So, I started typing away on my laptop. I’m no writer either, but it was kind of fun to just make stuff up. Came up with this silly little story about a guy who wins a beat-up ’77 Ford pickup truck in a raffle. He’s the 77th person to enter the raffle, naturally. Corny, I know, but it passed the time.
The whole thing was pretty pointless, really. But it was a good way to kill a couple of hours. I didn’t create anything amazing, but I used my brain a little, and that’s always a good thing, right?
Maybe next time I’ll pick something less random. Or maybe not. Who knows? That’s half the fun!
