So, I’ve been messing around with this 450 supermoto thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I saw some stuff online about the KTM 450 SMR, and it looked pretty sweet. I figured, why not give it a shot?

First thing I did was try to find one of these bad boys. I looked everywhere, checked out all those online motorcycle marketplaces, and even some local dealers. It wasn’t easy, I’ll tell ya. These things are popular! I spent days searching, comparing prices, and trying to find one that wasn’t totally beat up or overpriced. Prices are all over the place, some are between 1€ – 10, others are much more expensive. It’s crazy.
Finding the Bike
- Started my search online, checked out every website I could find.
- Looked at local dealerships, but most of them didn’t have what I was looking for.
- Finally found a used one online that looked decent and wasn’t too expensive.
After I finally snagged one, I started playing around with it. I took it out to some open areas, just to get a feel for it. This thing is powerful, let me tell you! It’s definitely not for beginners. I’ve been riding for a while, and even I was a little surprised by how much power this thing has.
The Riding Experience
- Took it out for a few test rides in some open spaces to get used to it.
- Realized that this bike is seriously powerful and not for the faint of heart.
- Started practicing in a controlled environment to get better at handling it.
Then I started taking it off-road. I found some trails and started messing around, seeing what this thing could do. It handles pretty well, even on rough terrain. I was impressed by how well it could handle jumps and bumps. I even took it on the road a few times. It’s fun and exciting, but also a bit scary because it’s so powerful.
Testing It Out
- Took it off-road to see how it handles different terrains.
- Tried out some jumps and bumps, and it performed really well.
- Even rode it on the road a few times, which was a bit of an adrenaline rush.
Overall, messing with the 450 supermoto has been a blast. It’s definitely a fun and exciting bike, but it’s also something that needs to be respected. You gotta know what you’re doing before you hop on one of these things. I’m still learning, but I’m having a great time doing it. I feel I need more time to get the hang of it. But I think I did pretty good so far.
