Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another deep dive into the archives! Today, I wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on – compiling the 2017 Barcelona roster. Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit dry, but trust me, it turned into a real trip down memory lane.
So, first off, I started digging around the internet, trying to piece together who was even on the team back then. It’s not as easy as you’d think! Websites have bits and pieces, some have summaries, but nothing really concrete. I spent hours going through articles, old news reports, and even some fan forums. I gathered a bunch of names, some basic info like age and nationality. You know how it is, trying to find reliable stuff online can be a real pain.
Then came the fun part – actually organizing all this mess. I decided to create a simple spreadsheet to keep track of everything. It was pretty basic, just names, positions, maybe some stats if I could find them. I spent a good chunk of time inputting all this data, making sure everything was in the right place. And let me tell you, it was satisfying to see it all start coming together.
But here’s where it got interesting. As I was filling in the names, memories started flooding back. I remembered watching those guys play, the excitement, the drama… it was like reliving those games all over again. I even dug up some old highlight videos – man, those were the days! Messi, Iniesta, and the rest of the gang doing their magic on the field… good times.
