Animal Planet, the world’s only entertainment brand dedicated to the unique relationship between people and animals brings a special show, ‘My Daddy the Crocodile Hunter’ hosted by Bindi Irwin, who is carrying on the legacy of her father - famed naturalist Steve Irwin, better known as The Crocodile Hunter who

died in 2006.
Ten-year-old Bindi Irwin will host an hour-long programme taking the viewers behind the scenes, on a very personal and private look at what it was like growing up with her famous dad – The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The show is interspersed with rare home movies of Bindi’s birth, her early childhood and behind the scenes on-location shots of some of Steve Irwin’s most exciting television shows and movies.
‘My Daddy the Crocodile Hunter’ will air on Animal Planet on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 8pm.

In this show, Bindi shares anecdotes about how her dad taught her everything she needed to know about wildlife. The show captures never-seen-before footage of one of Steve’s last crocodile research adventure in August 2006 with Bindi assisting in some of the most amazing crocodile captures and wildlife experiences in the Australian outback.
Bindi, who has grown up surrounded by animals, lives on the grounds of the Australia Zoo that Steve Irwin’s family founded in Queensland. She is fast following in her parents’ footsteps as an ardent animal and nature lover.
