 Exciting Westerns ride in to World Movies this July

World Movies, India’s only international movie channel by UTV Network, will explore the Westerns genre in the coming month with classic westerns, spaghetti westerns, horror & action westerns from around the world in ‘Wednesday Westerns’. Tune-in to
action above the ordinary every Wednesday at 8:30 pm with great westerns starring Franco Nero and Ringo Starr.
Franco Nero is one of the best Italian actors nominated for Golden Globe. Ringo Starr is a British musician, actor, director, writer, and artist best known as the drummer of The Beatles who also coined the title 'A Hard day's Night' for The Beatles' first movie. He won an Oscar for Best Music album ‘Let It Be’.
Dilshad Master, COO, UTV Entertainment Television Ltd. says, “Western Films or Westerns are the major defining genre of the American film industry. There are many sub-genres to it such as classic westerns, spaghetti westerns and others. In our endeavor to bring to our viewers some of the best movies from around the world, we come with all guns blazing this July with Wednesday Westerns.”

2ND July, 8:30 pm: Django
In the opening scene a lone man walks, behind him he drags a coffin. That man is Django. He rescues a woman from bandits and, later, arrives in a town ravaged by the same bandits. The scene for confrontation is set. But why does he drag that coffin everywhere and who, or what, is in it?
9TH July, 8:30 pm: Django Kill
Mexican outlaw Django is part of a band of thieves that steal a cargo of gold from a stagecoach. However, the Americans in the band betray him, and shoot all the Mexicans. Django is not completely dead though, and crawls his way out of his shallow grave, continuing his pursuit of the gold, and exacting a bloody vengeance.
16th July, 8:30 pm: Goodbye Texas
The tough gun-man Burt Sullivan (Franco Nero) leaves his job as a town sheriff to go to Mexico to find the man, Cisco, who killed his father many years ago. He and his younger brother arrive in a small town where everybody is afraid of Cisco who has become the local landowner. But there is a secret. It turns out that Cisco is the father of Burt's younger brother and Cisco are craving for respect from his "son". Burt Sullivan joins forces with the local townspeople to stop and bring Cisco back to his punishment in Texas.
23rd July, 8:30 pm: Tears Of The Black Tiger
Handsome Dum made a promise to his upper-crust lover Rumpoey that despite the class difference they will get married. When the moment of reunion arrives, Dum gets involved in a fire fight and cannot possibly reach Rumpoey in time. She is desperate as her father has married her off to a policeman. The taciturn Dum, called the 'Black Tiger' by his co-conspirators, has however not forgotten Rumpoey. He does everything in his power to reach her, but fate gets in the way as his gang leader suspects him of treachery and his blood brother turns into his greatest enemy. Will the two lovers ever meet up?
30th July, 8:30 pm: Blind man
A blind, but deadly gunman is hired to escort fifty mail order brides to their miner husbands. His business partners double cross him, selling the women to bandit Domingo. Blindman heads into Mexico in pursuit.
